2nd International Emotion-Focused Therapy Symposium: Transforming Emotions

We look forward to welcoming you to Toronto for the International Society for Emotion Focused Therapy Symposium. The symposium will be held at the University of Toronto's Victoria College. This is the site of one of Toronto's oldest Universities a lovely campus consisting of a mix of modern and old Victorian buildings around a verdant and shady quadrangle. The campus is situated downtown Toronto, a block south of an upscale luxury shopping district, and close to restaurants that will satisfy the most epicurean of tastes, art galleries and museums.
Toronto is a lovely place to visit in the summer. Temperatures in June are usually in the high 20s low 30s with bright blue skies and balmy winds. One of the most cosmopolitan and diverse cities in the world, Toronto is home to people from North and South America, Western and Eastern Europe, the Caribbean, Africa, Australia as well as South, Central and East Asia. The diversity of the population is most evident in the variety of cuisines and restaurants throughout the city as well as the rich and eclectic music scene, visual and fine arts and the number of languages spoken.
